Blíží se termín polického vandru. Jak jinak než v nádherném okolí Police nad Metují. Počasí je tento rok velmi nepříjemné. Zima, déšť, občas i hodně nepříjemný, ale to nás nemohlo odradit a na vandr jsme přesto jeli. Páteční večer jsme v hospodě při večeři pozorně sledovali oblohu nad námi. A bylo víc a víc jasnéjší, že pláštěnky budou opravdu nezbytné. Na startu se celá naše Hujerova rodina zapsala na 15 km. Přesto, že obloha nevěstila nic dobrého, tak nám pršelo sotva 10 min. Ano Svatý Petr nás má rád. Krom toho, že nás obdařil silným větrem, byl báječný den. Bez problému jsme až po 18-ti km. dorazili do cíle. Šel s námi nejmladší člen pětiletý Toníček a pak šestiletá Barunka a i Ti bez jakékoliv pomoci, či úlevy spokojeně došli do cíle. Samozřejmě jsme náš úspěch museli zapít a ve vší spokojenosti a po dobrém jídle u Niny, jsme se v neděli vraceli do svých domovů.
